“I’m Lizzy Nilsen, a muralist and designer based in Phoenix, Arizona. Through my work as The Local Artisan, I create bold, colorful artwork that blends storytelling, symbolism, and a handmade esthetic. I aim to spark connection and make each piece feel personal and rooted in place. My style is shaped by street art, cultural patterns, and nature—often incorporating elements like native plants, animals, and traditional motifs with a contemporary twist.
