Liliana Mora is a painter and illustrator based in Phoenix, Arizona. Originally from Bogota, Colombia, she grew up in Buffalo, NY, where she earned her BFA in Painting in 2013. Inspired by Western New York’s landscapes, she creates colorful, contemporary paintings of nature, featured prominently in Buffalo.
Since moving to Arizona in 2016, Liliana has drawn inspiration from the desert’s beauty and culture of the West Coast. Her art blends a love for botanicals and animals with modern design elements influenced by her background in architecture. Liliana is known for her vibrant mural paintings seen across Greater Phoenix and her illustrations for book covers and children’s books.
When not in her Downtown Phoenix studio, Liliana can be found teaching Paint and Sip classes in Roosevelt Row at The Painters Lounge.
